Haldi (Turmeric) Mala is strung out of dried Haldi or Turmeric Beads. Wearing a Haldi Or Haridra Mala brings mental peace and has a positive effect on state of mind. It reduces stress and tension, and helps to
overcome anxiety and depression. Chanting mantras with Haldi (turmeric) Mala is believed to increase the effectiveness of mantras. In Hinduism, Turmeric is associated with fertility, prosperity and good luck. The symbols “Swastika” or “Om” made using Turmeric paste is said to bring luck and wealth. Haridra Mala or Rosary is especially used in the worship of Goddess Baglamukhi. Clean the Turmeric mala by using a soft, dry cloth to wipe off dust. Never use water or any other liquid to clean it as it may damage the turmeric beads.
